In the Beginning Was the Word: Learning to Study Your Bible through John's Gospel

Join the Holston Baptist Association for In the Beginning Was the Word, a two-day Bible conference featuring Dr. Jim Hamilton, Senior Pastor of Kenwood Baptist Church and Professor of Old Testament Interpretation and Biblical Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Drawing from his latest book, In the Beginning Was the Word: Finding Meaning in the Literary Structure of the Gospel of John, Dr. Hamilton will use the Gospel of John to teach principles of faithful Bible study that will help believers read and understand Scripture with greater confidence. Rather than simply examining John's Gospel, attendees will learn practical methods for interpreting the Bible by seeing how John communicates the message of Christ through literary structure, Old Testament fulfillment, and various theological themes.
